The Power To Make The Difference
We are Team Hoagie and we’re running the Chicago Marathon on October 9, 2011 as part of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) Power Team.
Multiple Myeloma is a type of blood cancer. The mission of the MMRF is to relentlessly pursue innovative means that accelerate the development of next generation Multiple Myeloma treatments for patients and lead to a cure.
Team Hoagie is a group of awesome, first time marathoners dedicated to running towards a cure. It’s inspiration began when Mike’s mom was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in December 2010. As she continues to fight this disease our team will continue to fight to raise money to benefit cancer research to help cure Multiple Myeloma.
